
The Eagle Pass Housing Authority received High Performer notification in both the Public Housing (PHAS Score-98) and Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP Score-100) for the 2016 fiscal year.
The HUD Office of Mr. Donald J. Lavoy, Deputy Assistant Secretary from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Real Estate Assessment Center, Washington, DC has conveyed to the Eagle Pass Housing Authority that PHAS score report that identified the scoring summary that entailed four indicators; Physical Assessment, Management Assessment, Financial Assessment and Capital Fund Program with a score of 98. Mrs. Eliza Cano is the supervisor for the Eagle Pass Housing Authority Public Housing Program.
According to Mr. David Pohler, Director of the San Antonio Department of Housing and Urban Development, “The SEMAP enables HUD to better manage the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Tenant-Based Assistance Program by identifying the authority’s capabilities and deficiencies as they relate to the program’s administration.” The authority has fifteen individual performance indicator scores. Ms. Criselda Salazar is the Section 8 Supervisor for the Eagle Pass Housing Authority.
