Found intoxicated, charged with DWI

County units responded to Lucky Eagle Road at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Friday , where the driver of a Dodge Dakota had lost control of his vehicle and struck a TxDot sign and a fence causing damages to the front bumper.
Contact was made with the driver, identified as Mario Martinez, who was highly intoxicated. Martinez refused medical attention before being taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
According to Maverick County Sheriff’s Department daily reports, this is the second arrest that has been made this year in relation to drunk driving.

Las unidades del condado respondieron a Lucky Eagle Road aproximadamente a las 12:30 de la mañana del viernes, cuando el conductor de un Dodge Dakota había perdido el control de su vehículo y golpeó un letrero TxDot y una cerca que causó daños.
El conductor fue identificado como Mario Martínez, que estaba muy intoxicado.
Martínez se negó a recibir atención médica antes de ser transportado al Centro de Detención de Tom Bowles.
De acuerdo con los informes diarios del Departamento del Sheriff del Condado de Maverick, este es el segundo arresto que se ha hecho este año en relación con la conducción bajo los efectos de alcohol.
