A long wait has left many in anticipation for the hiring of a new City Manager.
Eagle Pass citizens will have to wait once again as the meeting that many hope will bring an end to what seems like an endless search, has been rescheduled.
The meeting originally scheduled to be held on Friday, December 2 at 12:00 p.m. has been moved to Monday, December 5 at 5:00 p.m. according to a public notice on the city’s website.
Roberto Gonzalez has served as the interim manager for nearly 8 months since the arrest of Hector Chavez on four counts of federal charges.
Among the people on the final list for City Manager are Rodolfo Bowles, former Principal of Eagle Pass High School; Jesus Sanchez, Former Superintendent of the School District; Robert Delibero and Otis Jones, a public administrator from the state of Michigan.
Members of the Eagle Pass Council have repeatedly said that they would like to come to a decision by the end of the year.

La reunión originalmente programada para seleccionar la posicion de un nuevo City Manager que estaba programada para el viernes, 2 de diciembre a las 12:00 p.m. se ha cambiado para el lunes 5 de diciembre a las 5:00 p.m. según un aviso público en el sitio web de la ciudad.
