It's the Holiday Season and it's an exceptional time to step back and really count our blessings and share them as well. The public is invited to participate in the following activities to help local shelter pets.
Holiday Donation Drive Benefiting Local Shelter Pets
December 3, 2016. Maverick County Lake Entrance 9am-1pm
It is getting Texas Cold out there, and the stray pet population at local pounds need warm hearts. We are asking for new or gently used blankets/towels, dog and cat food, or you may drive thru and contribute coins or dollars to Project COMPANION.
Pet Caricatures: The Perfect Gift for the Pet Parent you Love!
December 17th, 2016. The Prickly Pear Market, 668 Main St., 1pm-4pm
Enjoy the talents of Local Artists Gerardo "Jerry" Lopez and Adrian Ordaz as they sketch up your pet for a sitting fee of $12.00. Bring your pet or picture of pet by the Prickly Pear Market, experience art in action, shop small, sip hot chocolate and relish in the warm fuzzy of helping save an animal's life! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Project COMPANION to assist in our goal of bringing a Mobile Spay and Neuter Clinic to Eagle Pass. Hot cocoa and cookies will be sold, don't miss it!
