The City of Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a 5K Ugly Sweater Fun Run/ Walk, a 1 mile kids run, and a Santa’s Toys for Tots Mini Golf Tournament this holiday season.
The fee to participate in either run is $10.00, and participants can pre-register at the multi-purpose center or register on site at 7:00 a.m. the day of the event.
Cash prizes will be given to the first three participants to cross the line, and medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls. A prize will be given to the participant with the best ugly Christmas sweater.
The races will be held Saturday, December 3 at Shelby Park, at 8:00 a.m.
The golf tournament will take place Saturday, December 10 at 4:00 p.m. at the City of Eagle Pass Mini Golf Course.
Trophies will be given for first through third places, and for hole in one.
The fee per five person team is $25 per team, plus one toy per participant.

Parques y Recreación tiene eventos para niños
El Departamento de Parques y Recreación de la ciudad de Eagle Pass tendra su carrera de diversión suéter feo K 5 / caminata , 1 milla carrera de niños y los juguetes de Santa Tots Mini Golf torneo
La cuota para participar en cualquier carrera es de $10.00, y los participantes pueden pre-inscribirse en el Multipurpose Center o registrarse en el sitio a las 7:00 el día del evento.
