Mayor Ramsey English Cantú read a proclamation on Thursday, making it International Credit Union Day in Eagle Pass. “ I urge all citizens to recognize the contributions that credit unions made to these communities. Tangible and intangible throughout the years and honor and express appreciation for the service and commitment that each of you do,” said English Cantú. BFCU also launched their CU Buck Challenge in Del Rio that day, encouraging credit unions and peers from all over the world to donate to the National Credit Union Foundation.
