The Maverick County Hospital District and the Eagle Pass Independent School District recognized several campuses for their participation in the MCHD Juntos Podemos Project.
Marlen Ramirez of MCHD was present to thank the school district for its continuing support of the Juntos Podemos Project.
The Juntos Podemos Project is a teen pregnancy prevention project that has partnered with the Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, Texas A&M Personal Responsibility Education Program, and competitive grants under the Affordable Care Act.
The MCHD recognizes students from schools throughout EPISD or their participation in their program during the 2016-2017 school year.
The schools were presented with a certificate of participation for their students’ involvement in the educational program.
