Mission Border Hope held a spring break event for the Kidz Klub Literacy Program in Loma Bonita last week. The nonprofit organization that helps people with difficulties like poverty and disaster relief,
brought role models from the US Border Patrol, Boerne First United Methodist Church and St. Paul Kerrville United Methodist Church to speak at the literacy center. The center hosted several activities for children ages 5 through 12 during spring reak including art projects, Superhero Day, Dr. Seuss Day, St. Patricks Day celebrations, and the center’s first birthday.
